Thassos benefits from having two ferry ports. The largest port with the most frequent crossings (every half an hour during the summer) can be found in Limenas (Thassos Town), only 12 kilometers from Studios Apartments Dimitrious. This route has another advantage in that it is only a 35 minute crossing to Keramoti on the mainlaind. The second port is in Skala Prinos, 26 kilometers from us, and provides a service for passengers to and from the city of Kavala, the journey time is one hour and 15 minutes and there are less crossings per day.
From Keramoti it is 20 kilometers to the 'Odos Ignatia' (E90), and from Kavala 5 kilometers. The E90 is a modern motorway providing a link from Igoumenitsa (north west Greece) to Alexandroupolis on the Turkish border in the east. It has convenient connections for our northern visitors from Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Hungary.

The closest airport to Thassos is 'Megas Alexandros' aka Kavala Airport, is only 12 kilometers to the port of Keramoti. During the summer Kavala Airport caters for charter flights mainly, with a few scheduled flights per week from other countries. There are daily flights to Athens throughout the year.
Thessaloniki Airport (International Airport Macedonia) is a preferred destination for many of our guests as it is an international airport which has scheduled flights all through the year from a wide choice of destinations. It also benefits from providing services to many budget airlines. From the airport you have a choice of hire car, coach or taxi for your onward journey to Thassos. The journey to Keramoti is 210 kilometers and should take less than 2 hours. To Kavala it is 170 kilometers and a one and a half hour journey.
